CALIFORNIA

We decided that for spring break this year we would get away and go to the beach.  How convenient it is to have friends who live near the beach.  We drove to California to visit my friend Jamie.  The trip was short but consisted of beach walking (it was too cold to swim), eating at Ruby's on the pier, boat tour to see whales and dolphins, basketball, walking around the Newport Beach Temple, and, of course, Balboa Island.  The trip was very short but very fun.  Maybe one day we will be lucky enough to live near a beach.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KRISTIN

Wow!  Another birthday already?  Didn't I just have one?  I may be one year older but I can sure have fun like when I was young.  Ok, maybe not but I think so.  Friday Mike made me a delicious dinner of home-made hamburgers and took me to see a chick flick.  Saturday we went snowboarding to the third and final ski resort in Arizona.  You could say that we are now addicted to snowboarding and are going to go through withdrawals now that the snow is melting.  When we got home we went out to eat at a yummy Mongolian grill with some of our friends.  Sunday we went to my in-laws and enjoyed a tasty dinner with them.  Good food, good company, good birthday weekend.
