10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Considering the fact that I am very sick and we are on the verge of paying off our debt so we don't want to spend any extra money, we didn't really celebrate our 10 year anniversary.  Mike and I were able to go to the temple and do our traditional sealings on our anniversary.  We ordered some food for dinner and Mike brought it home for us to eat.  I know it's not a very exciting way to spend your 10 year anniversary but we plan on doing something better once I feel better or after the baby is born.  I am so grateful for Mike and have loved the last 10 years we've spent together.

SILLY AND CRAZY KIDS

Here are more random pictures of everyday craziness.

Do you like his haircut?  He did it himself.

ALEX TURNS 7

Seven years already?!  I can't believe it.  Alex was so cute on her birthday.  She had been up and down with illness the week before her birthday.  On her birthday she said she didn't want to go to school.  She was probably well enough to go but I figured since her birthday was a Friday she could stay home one more day and get a three day weekend to really rest and get over whatever bug she had.  I went to the store that day and got some party hats and a "Happy Birthday" necklace for her.  She was elated!  I made her a special breakfast and Mike took her out to lunch.  She wanted to eat out on her birthday.  We ended up getting home late so she opted to have her cake the next day after her special dinner.

Up to this point we hadn't told the kids that we were having another baby.  Mike and I went to the doctor the day before for the ultrasound but didn't tell the kids.  One of the gifts we gave Alex we told her she had to share with Shane and Maggie and that they would have to wait several months to get it.  Inside the box was a paper that said, "Another brother or sister" and also had a picture from the ultrasound.  They were so excited to find out we were having another baby.

BABY NUMBER 4

We're going to have another baby!  It's a mixed feeling kind of a thing.  Excited to have another baby but scared because it means another baby to take care of.  I'm due in September so I'll probably have a c-section the week of Labor Day.  I'm glad I'm having a baby while the older two will be in school so it will just be Maggie at home.  I'm feeling nauseous and started throwing up this week (8 weeks gestation).  I am not looking forward to being sick for the next few months.

DISNEY ON ICE

We used some of our Christmas gift money to go to see Disney on Ice.  Everyone loved it...except Mike.  He was a good sport to go with us, but it wasn't his type of entertainment.  Even Maggie was captivated for most of the show.  The last twenty minutes of the show she was done and ready to go home.  It was really fun to get out and do something as a family.
