FARM DAY

There was a nearby farm that had a farm day!  They had all kinds of animals to pet including cows, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, llamas, bunnies, baby chicks, and baby ducks.  Plus they had a bunch of activities for the kids to do and a fire truck to explore.  They could also sit on sleighs and tractors.  Alex was in heaven and ran from one thing to the next calling back for me to keep up.  Shane enjoyed looking at everything and pet a few things.  I'm excited for next year when they do it again.

PRETTY PAINTED PUMPKIN

We got together with some friends to paint pumpkins.  Alex painted a real masterpiece.  Unfortunately, we put it on our front porch and it rained and washed off all the paint.  Alex was sad but I told her we could paint it again which she was very happy about.

ORCHARD

With Kelley Kids we went to an orchard and picked apples.  Alex loved it and wanted to pick every apple.  After a couple minutes she refused to ride in the wagon and wanted to walk and help push the wagon.  Of course, Mike wanted to pick extra apples to make an apple pie.  We also got a small pumpkin for Alex.  It was a very fun day.

SHANE ON THE MOVE

Shane finally started crawling on all four.  He has been army crawling for the last couple of months.  Alex was very excited to help show him how to crawl.
