BUS STOP ENTERTAINMENT

Maggie always wants to go with me to the bus stop to pick up Shane and Alex.  Sometimes we are waiting for awhile.  Maggie has found several ways to stay entertained while waiting.

DIRTY WORK

We ordered a bunch of dirt to level the backyard and make planter boxes.  The only problem is that I had to move all the dirt from the driveway to the backyard.  Thankfully the sister missionaries helped me one day.

MCKENZIE TURNS 1

How has it been a year already?!  I can't believe McKenzie is one year old.  We made her favorite foods and gave her some fun toys, including the traditional tissue box (the gift that keeps on giving).  Shane had a soccer game that day and she loved sitting in the child folding chair and cheering him on.

REMEMBERING PAPA AND PETER

This year I had a root beer float to remember Papa since he loved ice cream and soda.  I also got some plants for my Peter flower pot.

EASTER

Easter is such a nice day.  I appreciate the opportunity to reflect on the atonement and resurrection of Christ.  I am grateful for that priceless gift He has given us.  I appreciate that gift more in the last few years after losing love ones.  We had a yummy dinner and went to a park to see the new buds and flowers.

MIMI VISITS FOR HER BIRTHDAY

We were so excited to have Mimi come visit.  We were also excited to have her here for her birthday.  The kids made cute cards.  The day after we went to the zoo.  We also went to the park.  We always love having Mimi here.
