ALEX'S ARRIVAL

She's here, safe and sound.  Our stubborn little baby who gave us so much trouble during the ultrasounds was breech.  My doctor said the baby probably would not turn, so I had to have a c-section.  We scheduled it for Thursday, February 7.  The procedure went well with no complications.  Alexandra Janet Farr entered the world at 12:43 pm.  She weighed 8 lbs 5 oz and was 20" long.  She has bright red hair and beautiful blue eyes.  She is such a wonderful new addition.  It is a blessing that everything went well and that she and I are healthy and doing well.  We were able to leave the hospital after only 2 days (normally the stay is 3 days for a c-section).
