STREP

 In December, Shane, Maggie, and I tested positive for strep.  A month later I started getting a sore throat at dinner time.  It got worse and it felt like the strep in December.  It was too late to see the doctor so I went the next morning.  Positive for strep again!  Within 48 hours all of the kids also tested positive!  Even Bridget was positive even though she was under 2 years and had no symptoms.  Mike said his throat felt scratchy, but he went to the doctor and tested negative.  We had a small pharmacy in our fridge for 10 days.  Here's to hoping that we can go a month without strep.

MAGGIE IS A BUEN GAUCHO

 Maggie was chosen for a Buen Gaucho award.  We are so proud of her and she was so happy to get the award.

SNOW DAYS

 Right when school was going to start up again after winter break we got a big snow storm that closed school for two days.  The kids played in the snow the first day and we went sledding the second day.  The kids were grateful for 2 extra days of break.

TUBING

 Alex went tubing with the youth of the branch.  It was a VERY cold day with temperatures below freezing and wind.  Even still, the youth had a great time.

TEMPLE WITH ALEX

 Alex wanted to go to the temple and do baptisms for the dead as soon as possible.  We made an appointment for the 2nd of January since the temple is closed on the 1st.  It was so fun and special to be able to go to the temple with Alex for her first time.  She liked having her dad baptize and confirm her.
