ROSIE DEMOLITION

We decided to take the first step and remove the wood panels in the family room.  With all the debris I put McKenzie on my back in a backpack.  She kept reaching up and pulling my hair, so
I ended up wrapping my head in a large cloth.  I thought I looked like Rosie the Riveter, which I thought was appropriate considering that I was doing demolition.

SIBLING LOVE

Sometimes you just need a picture of all your kids loving it up, kind of.

HOMEMADE FACIALS

Alex made some facial cream at a party and wanted to use it.  She used it on herself, Shane, and Maggie.  It was very messy but they had fun while it lasted.

MY BIG (UN)HELPER

With McKenzie on the move she is loving the ability to get into everything.  She is very curious and wants to be where I am.  As a result, when I am cooking or cleaning the kitchen she loves to copy and do what I do.  The only problem is that she usually does the opposite of what I do.

THE HAUL

I won a wooden jungle gym on an online auction site.  We tried to rent a trailer to pick it up but the wiring wasn't working.  We left Alex and Shane at home and packed the boxes in the Yukon.  It was tight but we got it all to fit!

KRISTIN'S BIRTHDAY

Another trip around the sun in the books.  Mike always tries to make my birthday a special day.  He makes yummy food and pampers me with whatever I want to do.  The kids are so cute and want to help make it a special day.

PINEWOOD DERBY

I am currently the Activity Days leader for the girls.  We coordinated with the boys to have a big pinewood derby.  There were quite a few boys and girls who participated.  Alex, Shane, and Maggie all participated.  They had a lot of fun designing and painting their cars.  Surprisingly, Alex won the overall derby with the most wins!
