ALEX STARTS SOCCER

Alex wanted to do soccer again this year.  Shane missed the cutoff by a couple months.  Alex is happy to play soccer even though she just runs around after the crowd and doesn't really know what to do.  I need to spend time teaching her but between pregnancy and a new baby I haven't been able to.  She always has a smile on her face and we get a kick out of watching her, even when she stops right in the middle of the game to wave at us as the ball is kicked right past her.

RAIN AT THE ZOO

We decided to go to the zoo with some friends.  We picked a day that had a low probability for rain.  Even the morning of it looked like it wouldn't rain.  As luck would have it, as we entered the gates it started to rain.  We ran for cover and hoped that it would blow over soon.  We went to a few indoor exhibits and then went home.  At least Shane had fun playing in the puddles.

MAGGIE IS 3 MONTHS OLD

Three months already!  Maggie sleeps through the night.  She is very content and loves to be held.  She smiles at everyone, especially her siblings.  We are so glad she is part of the family.
