NEW JOB

After almost 2 years of looking Mike finally got a job that he enjoys.  He is working for M&M.  As much as we would like that to mean the candy it is Marcus & Millichap, the largest national real estate brokerage company.  He is a research analyst and learning a lot.  We hope this will give him a good foundation for the real estate work he wants to do in the long run.

PAT TILLMAN RUN

Mike signed up to do the Pat Tillman run.  It is centered around Pat Tillman, an ASU football player who went pro and then was killed in military service.  His number was 42 so the race is 4.2 miles, ends on the 42 yard line on the football field, cost $42, and was on 4/20.  He did it with some friends and had a good time.  I enjoyed watching with Alex and some of our friends.

ALEX'S BABY BLESSING

I am so grateful for the priesthood and that I have a husband who is worthy to hold and use it.  This weekend was full of fun family events.  My mom's birthday was this weekend so on Saturday all the sisters and my mom went to lunch and to get pedicures.  My sister, Karen's, oldest daughter Makayla turned 4 so we had a birthday party for her that afternoon.  Sunday was the blessing.  Afterwards we had a luncheon and celebrated my mom's birthday.  What a wonderful weekend with family.  We are grateful for those who came to support us and share this special time with us.
