MCKENZIE SMILES

 At 5 weeks McKenzie has started smiling every once in a while.  I managed to catch a few with the camera, but she moves so fast that they seem to always be blurry.

SCARY MOVIE

 We watched a movie that had some intense moments.  They scared Maggie so anytime it got too intense Mike told her to cover her eyes with his hat.

MAGICAL MOBY

 I love my Moby wrap.  Babies fall asleep and are so content, sometimes for hours.  It is especially nice for newborns who want to be held all the time.  It allows me to hold them and get things done.  I will clean the house, run errands, mow the lawn, go for walks, and just about anything else with the baby in the Moby.

CHEF SHANE MAKES AJI DE GALLINA

 Shane's teacher is from Peru and she has been teaching her class about Peru.  They have learned about the landscape, food, dances, etc.  We told her we were going to make aji de gallina, a Puruvian dish, and she asked if we would make a video to share with the class.  Shane had a lot of fun being Chef Shane and making aji de gallina.  The class liked watching the video, too.

SHANE'S MUG

 For Mother's Day, Shane's teacher helped the students make personalized mugs.  They also planted some grass to learn the science behind plants.  Shane loved the fact that the mug had his picture and the grass looked like spikey, green hair.
