We drove up to Utah to help my parents get their house ready to put on the market. Mike drove up with us on Friday, flew back to Phoenix on Monday, flew back to Utah on Friday, and drove back with us on Monday. The kids and I stayed the whole time. We did painting, gardening, cleaning, organizing, and de-cluttering. Mike did several projects outside. The kids loved being at Grammy and Papa's. Alex loved playing outside and getting into everything. She wanted to do everything we did.
The only problem we ran into was a deer. On our drive up we hit a deer. The deer died but we were very lucky that the only problem we had was a dented hood and broken headlight. I ordered a hood and headlights online for less than $300. When we got home and Mike finally opened the hood (he was afraid to do it in Utah in case it didn't close again) we found that the radiator was bent but not broken. The car runs fine. All of the damage was cosmetic. What a blessing that there wasn't more damage.
