THANKSGIVING

This Thanksgiving we stayed home.  Mike had the whole week off and it was nice having him around.  We got together with a few friends from school for dinner and some friends from the ward for pie.  Thanksgiving Day was pretty uneventful except when Mike knocked a knife off the counter onto his toe while getting the turkey ready for the oven.  Luckily it wasn't deep enough to need stitches so we didn't have to go to the emergency room.

SHANE TURNS 2

Shane turned 2 years old.  How time flies!  We bought him a marble maze toy.  Mike spent an hour the night before cleaning the pieces and putting it together.  Shane was so excited to wake up to such a cool toy.  We spent the morning playing with his new toy.  We made all his favorite foods for meals.  After dinner we went bowling.  It was the first time for Alex and Shane and they both loved it.  Shane loved the cake and ice cream waiting for us when we got home after bowling.  We love Shane and are so glad he is part of our family.
