MEMORIAL DAY WITH THE FARRS

Seeing that we are moving in July and Tim and Audrey are moving to Connecticut we wanted to spend Memorial Day weekend together.  Mick came down from Utah for a few weeks.  Friday we went to a Diamondback's game complete with fireworks afterwards.  Of course the kids were tired and I was ready to go home by the 7th inning stretch.  However, the game went into 3 extra innings and ended at midnight!  Poor kids were exhausted.  Saturday we went to the botanical gardens.  It was fun to walk around and see all the plants and flowers.  Sunday was 4th Sunday dinner at Mike's parent's.  Monday we went to the Chinese Cultural Center since none of us had been there.  Sadly it was a couple of Chinese art and nick-nack shops and restaurants in a shopping area with an Asian market.  Well, now we know.  That evening everyone came over to our place and we had a BBQ and swim party at the pool.  Later that week we also took family pictures since the only ones we had were of weddings.

SHANE 6 MONTHS

I can't believe Shane is already 6 months old!  Is so fun.  He rolls around and plays with toys.  He absolutely adores his sister and loves being with family.  What a blessing he is to our family!

Now that he's 6 months he also gets to experience solid foods.  He is not a fan, but we sure enjoy laughing at the funny faces he makes at the new tastes and textures.

BRACES OFF

After 2 years of braces Mike finally got them off!  He looks so good and I'm so excited for him.  Alex was only 4 months old when he got them off, so she doesn't know him without braces.  She was a little confused and could tell that something was different.  Then she saw the goodie bag and just wanted to eat all of his candy.

ZOO FUN

One fun thing that we have done for the last year is go to the zoo.  We got a year membership so we could go regularly.  Alex loved looking at all of the animals.  There isn't a zoo in Bloomington and I will miss it.
