The kids made some more stepping stones. I got a different type of cement that we didn't like as much. I also bought a bigger variety of small stones for the kids to use. I think they all turned out great!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
Another school year begins. Alex's bus comes at 6:15 am so I got a picture of her before school in the dark and after school in the light.

CEDAR POINT
Another successful trip to Cedar Point in the books. It was as fun as ever. Maggie is now tall enough to be able to ride some of the roller coasters. She was so excited to be able to say she rode the big roller coasters. Kenzie was tall enough to be able to ride some small roller coasters. She was pretty scared at first, but afterwards she was proud that she was brave to ride them.

PLAYSTREET
Nationwide Children's Hospital sponsors a community activity called PlayStreet. It's a free activity with jump houses, petting zoo, face/arm painting, free pizza and shaved ice, and yard games. They close off a street to put all the activities. We had so much fun!

CAUGHT RED HANDED
The kids were always eating berries and playing in the dirt. I am okay with that and love that they are able to eat food from our garden. I had to get a picture of them with berries on their faces and dirt on their knees.

BUG EYED
Shane found some clear cups and decided it would be funny to wear them like glasses. He looked like he had bug eyes.
STAINING THE JUNGLE GYM
Alex and Shane helped me stain the jungle gym. We did one coat one day and a second coat the second day.

BRIDGET GETS STITCHES
We went to a park with friends. There was a zip line and pulley system to get it back up. I was pulling the rope and Bridget was near me. I was worried that she would try to grab the rope, but she didn't seem to be paying attention. I looked up to grab the rope, and when I pulled it down there was resistance. Then Bridget started crying and blood was coming from her hand. I took her to the car and cleaned her hand a bit. The cut was deep. I wrapped it up as much as I could and took her to a pediatric urgent care. Bridget was so brave and stayed still as they put in 5 stitches. Despite trying several ways to wrap her hand the bandage would keep falling off. Her finger got infected and red after a few days, so I took her to the doctor to get some antibiotics. It cleared up and healed nicely.

ALUM CREEK LAKE
The weather was nice and we decided to make a trip to the lake. We went early to avoid the crowds. The kids had fun playing in the water and the sand.
