BRIDGET FINDS THE TREE

 Bridget has been rolling and scooting around a lot lately.  She managed to move her way over to the tree to check things out.  She was so proud of herself for being able to get to the tree and play with the low branches.

THANKSGIVING

 We had a yummy Thanksgiving dinner at the Salt's.  Pam and Jim drove up for dinner.  After dinner Debbie had a bunch of friends over for pie dessert.

SHANE'S BIRTHDAY

 We drove up to Wisconsin to visit the Salts for Thanksgiving.  We were there for Shane's birthday as well.  I made him a special breakfast and cake.  Shane wanted to go out to eat at Cheesecake Factory for dinner.  When we got home, Mike took Shane out to lunch.

PIANO

 For the past year Alex and Shane have taken lessons from a senior Elder in our branch, Elder Williams.  He has been so good with the kids and such a blessing to us.  He also taught 3 other kids in the branch.  We had a recital right before they left to go home.

PUTTING UP THE LIGHTS

 I love the time of year when we get to put lights up outside.  Mike steadied the ladder while I put the lights up on the top roof line.  Afterwards the kids wanted to get up on the roof with me.  Even Kenzie climbed up the ladder and I helped her on the roof.

LEAVES

 The kids cleaned up the leaves in the front yard and put them in a large pile.  Shane wanted to ride his bike through the pile.  It didn't blow up like he was hoping but it was still fun for him to try a couple of times.

SPECIAL VISITOR

 I went to the garage to get a screwdriver.  I didn't see the camouflaged visitor at first and almost grabbed him instead of a screwdriver.  Can you see him?

GLOW RUN

 The kids' school put on a Glow Run.  With daylight savings ending it is darker earlier in the evening.  They invited all the kids and their families to come to the school and run around the bus loop in front of the school.  For each lap each kid received a glow bracelet.  They had music and snacks.  It was a lot of fun.  I was surprised how many laps my kids were able to do in just an hour!

ALEX AND MAGGIE ARE BUEN GAUCHOS

 We were surprised to find out that Alex and Maggie would both be recognized as a buen gaucho.  They both got the recognition for bilingual.  We are so proud of Alex and Maggie!
