VISIT TO ARIZONA

My dad's health is not doing well and he has been in and out of the hospital for the past several months.  We took advantage of cheap plane tickets to go to Arizona and see him.  We didn't complain that the weather was wonderful.  Mike came a few days after the rest of us and was able to work/network a little in the Scottsdale office for Nationwide.  I was even able to meet up with one of my mission companions for a short play date in the park.  I hadn't seen her since her wedding right before Alex was born.  It was so fun to get caught up and to meet each other's children.  Alex and Shane enjoyed playing with their cousins.  It was hard to see my dad so sick but it was good to be there for him and cheer him up.  Most of our time was spent visiting my dad so we didn't get many pictures.

IT'S A GIRL!

We found out that our little frijol is a girl!  Alex says that girls are winning since now there will be more girls than boys in our family.  Unfortunately the store did not have Mounds so we had to settle for the regular, nut-less M&M.
