A huge winter storm came through Columbus. We got a foot of snow and had freezing temperatures. Church was canceled, and there was a snow emergency level 3 issued for Columbus for the first time. Monday, school was canceled for the kids and me. The day after it snowed the temps weren't too bad that the kids wanted to brave the cold and play in the snow. They lasted about an hour and had fun playing around in the back yard with the neighbors. The kids ended up having the whole week off of school. They managed to stay busy reading, playing games, building forts, watching movies, and even a trip to the temple to do baptisms for Alex and Shane.
